Hiya all!
Yesterday, I brought Quake 4.
Whenever I try to install it, it gets so far then I get a BSOD.
The error says: BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER
And a code of: STOP 0x000000FE (0x00000005, 0x86AF80E0, 0x11063038, 0x86CBA8B8)
I am not sure why I am getting this error exactly when installing a game has nothing to do with USB?
I am installing from a normal DVD disk on to a perfectly (new) hard drive.
I tried unplugging all my USB hardware (my modem and scanner) and this time I didnt get a BSOD, the computer just restarted.
My specs:
> AMD Athlon 2000 1.6ghz
> 1gb RAM
> ATI Radeon 9600se 128mb
> 300gb HDD
What could be wrong?
