hi i am using my friends pc and i cant figure out how to get into bios it dosent give any directions at boot its usually delete but it dont work its a hp pavilon thanks

no didnt work mate i have tried esc,f1,f2,f10,del,ctrl alt & esc nothin works esc did bring up a menu to choose boot device thats it

For my HP notebook it's F10 and my HP desktop is F1, but you already said those didn't work. I'm having this same problem with my older Compaq 5000. Can't figure out which button to press as I'm pretty sure I've tried all the Function buttons. They should make a standard button that goes into BIOS instead of every system being different...
