Battlefield 2...which bidget card ??

Ive been playing B2 on my firends p.c which is a very powerfull piece of kit, i however do not have a limitiless budget with which to upgrade a system i have aquired......1.7 ghz athlon 512 mb Ram, it has an AGP slot but not 8x, my budget is about £100 or say $170 for our friends in north america, if you could advise i would be very gratfull, someone has mentioned to me the radeon 9800 pro ?? cheers in advance..

The nvidia xfx 6600gt, MUCH better than the 9800pro. It only 150$ too.

Yeah, the 6600 GT is a nice card. You can also wait for ATI to come out with the Radeon X1600. 12 pipelines, 600mhz core and 700mhz memory. I heard it's about the 6600's price range, so if it is, it'll kill the 6600.

Hm...not sure. They might release it in AGP format too. We'll see...
