Sorry I've been posting so many threads lately but I've just had a lot of questions! :D

Anyways, I helped my dad move his stuff from a rather old Dell to my old home-built computer (Athlon 64 3000+ 2 GHz Socket 754, Asus K8N motherboard, 512 MB Geil RAM (had to take out a stick from mine, so I'm running at 512 MB too, but I'm getting new RAM soon so it is okay), Samsung 80 GB HDD, ATi Radeon 9700 Pro) and when panning in AutoCAD, it is very rough and choppy. Now, his old Dell didn't do that. This is not a huge problem, but rather an inconvenience, but I feel bad because I feel like he's not satisfied with it. I know that something has to be askew. I've got the latest Catalyst drivers on there, and I know the 9700 Pro is definitely a good enough card. Also, he's running AutoCAD LT, no 3D rendering. Simply line drawings... Although there's a wonderful difference in boot, switching applications, and everything! :D So it isn't all bad, but I'd really love to find out what's causing this.

Any suggestions? Thanks for reading the long post, if you did ;).
