Antique PC question

I'm trying to set up two PC systems joined by a KVM switch to share a common keyboard, mouse and monitor. One is a new Dell running Windows 7 and the other is an antique Gateway 450 running Windows 98se that's used to run some old DOS business apps. The KVM is set up with USB cables to connect the keyboard and mouse, which is fine for the new Dell, but the Gateway uses PS/2 ports for the keyboard and mouse. I'm thinking that the old Gateway cannot be reconfigured to use USB inputs for the mouse or keyboard. Anybody got a fix for my fix?

If the Gateway has USB ports, it should work. 98SE is a plug and play OS.

Thanx for the reply. I'll keep trying... 'Haven't had any luck yet. I guess I just need to find the right drivers...
