Amd 3400+

Who here has the 3400 yeah its old...only cause it was one of the 1st 64 bit processors to come out...And if you do how much were you able to OC too?

I had it on my old labtop... it was a great cpu... but ate too much battery power. I don't know how much you can oc it. With vapor phase change, you could probably go all the way to 5ghz. On air, I'd say no more than 4-5mhz for your fsb. That's a nice oc right there, in your sig.

Thanks a lot, I want to go to 3ghz but my heat sink / fan sucks so before that im going to need to buy a good one...Just want to see evryone esle who has 3400 and see how far they got without messing there comp up

Yeah, whatever oc'ing you do, just don't adjust the core voltage past 10% of the orignal. You could either fry your cpu, mobo, erase the hd, etc. Just beware with oc'ing. Do with care and caution.
