Arrow AIM Problem

whenever someone talks to me on aim it usually freezes up and i tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didnt do anything.what is wrong and/or what can i do

Which version do you have? If it is the old 5.9, that used to happen to me occasionally. I got Triton, cleaned it up a bit (got rid of the AOL Explorer and other crap it puts on there with it), and now it works great! Surprisingly, I'm happy with this AOL product!

You can always just use this site.
Rig -- Emachines T5026, 3.06ghz P4, 300W Bestec PSU, 160 sata hd, 512mb dual channel 3200 ram @ 3-3-5-8, ATI Radeon 9250 pci, dual layer 16x dvd+/-rw.

id try AIM 5.5.3599, thats what i currently use, but incase that doesnt work you can always use trillian as Joelk989 said. Id also try running some spyware / adware programs.
