I'm building a gaming rig right now but I'm on a budget so I'm only getting the bare essentials first. Here's the starting setup.

Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146058 - NZXT M59
Motherboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131631R - ASUS M4A89GTD PRO (890gx chipset)
Power Supply - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341019 - OCZ StealthXStream (700 watt)
CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103846 - AMD phenom II x2 555 black
Ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148304 - Crucial Ballistix 2GB
HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136218 - Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB 7200 RPM
dvd-drive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827106335 - Lite-on dvd+-RW
Wireless adapter - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833156258 - Trendnet wireless ap adapter

I'll also be getting windows 7 with this, it's actually $500 build but windows 7 and the wireless adapter add the extra.
I have to go wireless, I've got no option for a solid connection. I decided to go with a wireless ap so I wouldn't have to deal with any buggy software like on a usb one, plus the usb ones often overheat. I'm hoping to get no connection drops with this one.

I will be upgrading in the future, for now I'm just settling with this, I know it's just an onboard chipset, but it should be fine for now.

Here's the upgrade in priority of the upgrades.

More Ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148304 - Crucial Ballistix 2GB
Dedicated grahics card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131344 - hd 5830

Aftermarket cpu cooler plus case fans and fan controller - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185125 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233036 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811998121 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811992005 - Will start overclocking and unlocking the 2 cores on cpu after I get new coolers.

Headset - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826279001 - ABS azc virtual 7.1 surround sound - Should be back in stock by the time I buy it.
Keyboard - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823175005 - Saiteck cyborg keyboard
Mouse - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153054 - Razer Naga Black USB mouse
SSD x3 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227542 - OCZ agility 2 ssd - I've never used more than 200 gb of space so I'm going to take advantage of that with a cheap raid 0 config and get some serious speed.
Memory card reader and 5.25" to 3.5" adapter - (simply for my own convenience) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820223103 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16841101026
Second Graphics card - Same as first

And that's it, that's how far I've planned for this rig. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
