5.1 speakers not working

I have a sound blaster audigy 2 zs gamer, and for some reason in the thx setup console, only the front left and right speakers work. When I play a game or music all the speakers work but the soundcard can't identify the center or rear speakers. Any suggestions?

Check your settings and make sure that you have speaker configuration set at what your speaker set up is... you will also need to check your manual for the correct plug settings for each speaker set up... I don't have that card but if you are using a true 5.1 or higher speaker configuration then the "sound in" becomes I believe sound rear L & R and the MIC connector becomes center/base. Hope that helps
