Whats up guys, new comer to the forums, looking forward to learning a lot here..ok, I've two questions:

1) Can any motherboard fit in any computer case? I have a dell optiplex 170L motherboard, and was wondering if it will fit inside of a dell optiplex 760 case? If not then how do you determine what kind of case to get for your motherboard..?

2) I'm looking forward to painting an old gateway tower I have, just for fun,..what kind of spray paint, materials, ect. will be needed?

Thanks!..

Hi, welcome to the site.

1. No motherboards will not fit in to any PC. Generally there are a few types of motherboard "AT, ATX, Micro ATX" and you need to purchase a case that matches the form of your motherboard. But with some companys such as DELL / IBM / HP they develope there own custom made motherboards so generally you wont be able to remove them and place them in to another case.

not to sure about point 2
