just like the title says, i am wanting to build a media center pc after i get my tax refund back. right now im looking at 939 mobos with 4 gig memory capabilities, an amd 64 3500 or 3800 cpu. 16x dvdrw+/-, a geforce 6800 video card pci-e, two 250 gig hard drives, also start out with a gig of ram, and if money is left a 17" lcd monitor, now the question is, what would anyone change? and what are some good brands to go with this setup? also is heat going to be a major issue?
