007 Nightfire not working on Vista

I installed Nightfire on my PC which has Vista Ultimate 64bit, it opens up, the screen goes black and then I get "Bond.exe has stopped responding". Then I tried to use it on my laptop (Vista Ultimate 32bit) and I get a message telling me that my laptop has insufficient memory to run the game (it has 2GB ram!). I have tried the latest patch for the game and that did not help. Does anyone know how to fix this, or has anyone managed to run the game on vista? Thanks.

I did some research and the insufficient memory error happens on XP too

The game isn't designed for vista but I have always been able to get older games to work before.

Maybe, but if it's older and not designed for vista, it's really a matter of luck. You could try running the installer in compatibility mode, but I doubt that'll fix anything.
