So I'm getting a new phone now. I've got a nokia 6085 now, and while its a great free phone, and really durable, the construction is a bit lacking so that the case is held on with tape now (I know I said durable, but I'm talking about with water and being thrown at people) and that is really my primary concern. Second would be good battery life, so that I'm not charging it EVERY night (though that might be all the texting I do) which leads me to number 3: ease of use texting. I've used other people's phones, and I really don't like the interface for it. I'd like something where the person I'm texting and the text appear on the same page.

So... What do you guys think of these:

I'd probably get the Samsung Magnet. I haven't used a dumbphone since 2005, and I can't imagine texting on a conventional keypad.

None of the phones listed will have threaded texting though (which is like a chat style view for texting)
I do agree that the magnet would be best for texting though just because of the keyboard.
