I recently got a floor model TV from Sams, and there are a couple of scratches off at the left edge of the screen from mis-handling. Given what it cost, I am fine with them, but if there was a way to remove them, it'd be even better. I was thinking some automotive scratch filler, then a very fine polish, which I know works for small scratches in glass. Am I on the right track? Has anyone here ever fixed a scratched LCD?
I know that there will be some distortion no matter what I do, but I figure slightly distorted colors are better than a white line.
