has anyone ever heard of this?

I have stereo system that has a built in dock for my iphone. I have a ton of music on it that i love to listen to. My problem is that its tough to text my friends while my phone is plugged in or i dont want to charge it again because i just unplugged it. I know that the iphone has stereo bluetooth which would allow me to play music wirelessly but i'd need a dongle of some kind to plug into my stereo. Has anyone heard of something like this or know what i could search for on google?

I read a couple of reviews on that one and another one that i found on amazon and apparently the sound quality is terrible. Looks like the only solution is a long usb cable

Why Bluetooth? All that will do is make the iphone's sound quality even worse. Just use a dock extension cable.
