LMAO!! If ATi developed the x850XT PE right after 6800Ultra beat the x800XT PE, then ATi will develep the x900 series, and say BYE BYE to nVidia... ATI for the last time is a niche card developer. Who the hell owns the top of the line card? Anyone here? 80-85% of the market is mid-range. Since ATI has an inherent stupidity about marketing to people in the mid-range, they will suffer. It doesn't matter if they have the fastest graphics card out.. since that appeals to what? 3% of the market?

But what am I saying.. many of you don't understand the dynamics of the market.

Right now, NVIDIA PWNS ATI, because it dominates the mid-range market (The FX5700 Ultra, FX5900, FX6200, FX6600, etc)... its cards defeat competitors that ATI puts out.

ATI is a niche card developer, and that is all it will ever be. Sorry.

Yup. I heard that the 6900 is gonna be 512 bit (note the BIT) and 512 mb GDDR3 or whatever they're gonna use. PCI-E only and SLI compatible. All that = The Ultimate ATI Killer.

BTW Imagine what the 7 series is gonna be like when the 6900 is gonna own...

512-bit... being 256-bit is the only reason my 5200 is still playing games! Think of 512-bit... [drools]

Yeah - but you don't get 512-bits Nor would you get the Gig that you'd have from two 512Meg ones.
