That's good to know. Now I can sleep at night.

I'd post up mine, but my ancient Aiwa surround book shelf system is only good for listening to movies and sporting events on the T.V. The 3 CD changer and dual tape decks died many moons ago.

That's unfortunate. Just use your DVD player as a CD player. Works for me, even though the audiophiles are probably screaming their heads off.

Mines a 2.1 system. Doesn't deserve to be posted up online.

That's what we do. Most times though, we just stick the CD in the computer. The Logitech X-230's do a nice job at busting out the tunez.

Yeah, I used to use my computer speakers on a daily basis for music. After getting back into audio, I realized most computer speakers don't sound very full.

Who knows, could be me.

It's not you. My dad's Onkyo theatre setup sounds much better than my klipsch 2.1 system.

I agree, it's not you. A dedicated stereo system is much better then a computer setup.

Say, when did you purchase that Aiwa? Hopefully before they started making mass produced crap.

It's one that suffered from a misaligned laser resulting in it not being able to read any CD placed into it. I got in on the class action lawsuit against them and was reimbursed for the problem, but I never bothered to get a new system.

The thing still sounds awesome and has booming bass, but it's pretty much useless in it's current condition.

I'll post mine up tonight. It's just a logitech 5.1 system. Doesnt sound very good compared to my parents sterio downstairs. And I can hardly ever hear the rear speakers. Only sometimes in games, and almost never in movies... Must be a bad setup or something. They are only the Z-640s, so nothing fancy.

I'll get pics soon too, it's nearly 3:00am here.

Anyways, I recently bought the Creative Gigaworks T40 speakers. It's a tall 2.0 system, uses lots of power, they're big beasts and have high quality sound.

Finally got my JBL Control 29 from UPS today. What a huge bugger.

Sorry for the poor picture quality.

Those aren't hooked up to anything. I needed a place to put them.
