trying to put XP CD from new pc to old pc now it will not let me log in ,it say (this copy of windows must be activated with microsoft before you can log on) tryed to activate with key off new pc but will not take it.anyway to fixs this, pc are dells THANKS FOR YOUR TIMES

Yeah that happened to me. But it always let me log in it always said I had 30 days to activate. But anyways you need more that 1 license to have that XP on another computer. I have only seen this problem with the real XP disks. I have downloaded a few XP disks off the internet and never had a problem with activation.

It has the option to activate it over the Phone,have u tried doing that?
