Help needed with Windows 10

Hi folks, I have posted a 'help' thread on the W10 forum but am not getting a reply and so am wondering if someone on here can possibly help me please.

I have downloaded the Windows 10 ISO file to a USB stick and although I have changed the pc boot option to be the USB stick, all that I get is a black screen with a curser blinking in the top left hand corner. Do I need to do something else with the ISO file to make it work. I have read that I need to have the USB as a bootable one but am not sure how to do this.

Any help will be gratly appreciated in my efforts to do a clean install. Thank you.

Ah now you will need to tell us if you have UEFI bios and whether your computer bios is set to secure boot. You will need disable secure boot in your bios and then hit F12 to give you the boot options, one of which should be your USB stick. Choose that option to boot from and away you go. Hopefully.
