Computer needs administrator password for everything

I got a Dell Inspiron 530 with Windows Vista Basic. I have to have a password to get into the internet. I don't know what to do. HELP!!!

It's really hard to determine what kind of password prompt you're seeing. There are many different sorts of passwords. Can you post a screenshot?

If the account was standard you shouldn't be asked for a password every time. Check the settings of UAC (User Account Control) if you can How do I change the behavior of the User Account Control message?

Oh okay it wants a Administrator password to connect to the internet and other things

That's a guest or a secondary account you're on. The admin account is on a different password when you log in.

Get up with who you got it from and get the admin password.

There is another way to remove the password but its against the rules of the forum.
