I have a Toshiba protege m200 tablet pc, i need to re-install xp on it which i have an iso of, however it doesnt have a cd drive, and bios wont boot from usb, however i think it will boot from sd, but do i just put the iso on the sd card or do i need to convert it to something?

Thanks,
Chuck

You will need to use something like magic iso to extract the iso, then you will have to flag the sd as bootable, then put all the files on and it should work.

What os are you running? There might be an easier way.

You will have to have some sort of partition manager. I use gparted live cd, which is a good option if you have access to a desktop with an optical drive. If not, I cannot recommend one, since I hear some of the windows based ones carry virii nowadays, so I would need to try it before posting it.

i used gparted to set flag it bootable and copy the install cd files onto it, however it still doesnt boot from it, i have a legit copy of windows but no cd so i torrented one.
