I have recently moved my laptop to Windows 10 but am having problems with activating the O/S.
I have tried each of the suggestions offered in my previous thread but none of them will work and I now think that the only route left open to me is to make use of the recovery disks that I prepared when I first got the laptop. The last message I got when trying to revert to Windows 7 was, that because Windows 7 was pre-installed, I should contact the Device manufacturer. I don't want to do this as I do have the recovery disks.
The problem is, I have inserted the recovery disk 1 into the drive but it does not automatically begin the process and, when I look at what is on the disk there does not appear to be a file that I can click on to activate things.
Has anyone carried out this process and can advise me how to proceed please?
