Hi,
Ive got a new laptop running Windows 10. I have recently connected my old PC monitor using a DVI to HDMI cable.
When i turn the laptop on it doesnt detect the 2nd monitor.
I right click on the desktop and select Intel Graphics Settings - Display - Multiple Displays - I then need to detect the 2nd monitor.
At that point the 2nd monitor turns on and it runs fine.
When I close the laptop lid to put it to sleep it puts the 2nd monitor to sleep.
But when I open the laptop back up it doesn't wake the 2nd monitor up again and I have to repeat the whole detecting process again.
I have updated the drivers for the laptop (tried to update the 2nd monitor drivers but says I have the latest version).
Anyone got any ideas?
