I work at an animal sanctuary
I have worked there for 3 years
i get paid £20 on sundays, everything else is voluantary
its about 5 mins to cycle to the train station, 20 mins on the train and 25 mins cycle at the other end
i found out about it when doing my D of E.
i am still at school at the moment and any money earned goes on food etc. for my lizard.
 
first job:
dates :1999 - 2000
title : school cleaner
salasry : £3.80 p/h
travel : about a half mile walk
erquirements : extensive scrubbing knowledge
how I obtained it : I went in on the off chance there was a job (lucky me!)

second job:
dates : 2000 - 2002
title : General assistant at burger king!
salary : £5.12 p/h (tmie and a half weekends tripple time for bank holidays)
travel : about 10 miles (it was a motorway service station.)
how I obtained it : My brother worked there and told me they were looking for staff.

dates : 2001 - 2004 (1st half of year)
title : network tech (part time whilst at uni)
salary : 12,000 P/A
travel : about half a mile, but when the offices moved about 20 miles.
requirements : A level IT, general computing knowledge. good maths english GCSE
how I obtained it : speculative CV,

dates : 2004 (second half) - present
title : network admin
salary : £17,000 P/A (with £1000 pay rise per year guarenteed, + performance/responsibility based payrises at directors discression)
requirements : Technology based degree, previous experiance, good maths /english skills.
How I got it: it with the same company before but a move up within the company...
travel : 20 miles.

I've also whilst at uni...
worked handing out flyers in the streets.
done bar work.
worked in a train station cafe,
been a ride atendant at alton towers,
been a cold call telephone salesman selling kitchens.
been a box shifter at an ANC hub factory.
and freelanced as on a coding website. (which I am still doing alongside my current job)...

(god listnig all that makes me feel old!)

edit thought of moer jobs I did at uni...
I was a silver service waiter,
and I worked an evening stock checking at a gap store.
and I spent a few weeks worknig in a bakery, (which was cool because I got free bread whilst I was a poor student)
(most of my uni jobs were through a work placement centre that UK students will know at the Work Bank).

i started in 2002 when i was 13 and i finsih next month when im 16 so 3 years now
when i first started i got £12 a week then it went to £14 and with the new shop owners its now £17 a week
its around afew corners from my house not far, as for delivering papers i do 3 big streats and a few hills
i got it my walking into the shop and saying "got any rounds going"

Yeah, it is, i love it there, the best bit is "cleaning out" (playing) with the kittens when they are in.
You also get nasty things thougn, we have had cruelty cases and things like that as well, that isnt nice, but seeing them go off to homes when they have been treated is really rewarding.

Hourly Wage: $7.00 When at front desk
Commission when repairing computers + Hourly Wage

Summer 2005:
Internship at either cisco, mastercard, or some small software company
Salary: around $7.00 - $12.00 p/h....depending on the company.

4.50, on sundays 6.50 Per Hour

As for mine, jeeze where to start...
In the past 20 years I have owned my own business as I can not stand to line others pockets. It started it out as a electronic security company but soon tired of that. So I sold all of my 4000+ accounts and changed it to computer building and repairs. Been with that for some time now. Real little money maker. And have a good time at it...
All the while working at this hotel as chief engineer.
