Would like to wipe Windows of my Samsung pro SSD.
Right now all that is on this SSD is my Win 10 OS.

Anything I should know before I use parted magic to fully erase y Samsung SSD?

Do I have to delete or uninstall any programs 1st? Or just erasing it all will tae care of all of that for me, right?

Don't do that. There is no need. Just create a bootable USB with Rufus using a .iso downloaded from the Linux Mint site and initiate the installer. When you get to the destination selection check the option that says "Erase disk and install" or something like that. Then follow the installer and you are done. No trace of Windows.

I would recommend that in Rufus select the option that says "MBR partition table for BIOS or UEFI". The BIOS installation is much less complicated.

I normally use GParted to delete and recreate my partitions for installations. Have for many years.
