ok i know computers fairly well but this one's got me baffled, the computer won't turn on, yes, all the cords are properly plugged in, i've replaced the power supply, there doesn't appear to be any damage to the motherboard, and i've triple checked all the power cords inside the machine, the only thing i haven't done yet is replaced the cmos battery.... if any one has any other suggestions plz let me know.......

have you tried plugin the computer into a different outlet? the outlet could just be messed up.

yep yep, tried three different outlets and a couple different surge protectors, the only thing yet untried is the cmos battery, but i've never heard of it killing the computer off like this.... the only other thing i can possibly think of is the switch.... but it appears to fine.... i'm not sure how else to test that.....
