can somebody tell me if these specs are good for gaming?

CPU okay; you don't need 16 GB RAM, but it's not a problem; not impressed with the screen size and graphics card.

In fact, I am pretty sure you'll run into problems with this graphics card. You can't play the latest games with good settings with this card.
 
Never been a fan of gaming on a laptop but that thing has some decent specs. But as the previous guy mentions, 16GB of ram is overkill for gaming. 8GB is more than enough these days. And the graphics card will struggle in the latest games with anything over medium setting.

Also if you do get/have it and game on it, keep an eye on temps with some monitoring software.
 
You seriously don't need 16GB if you are going to be gaming, I would say 8-12GB is suitable for this kind of thing.
