New to forum. Just looking for a Panasonic Toughbook (the same computer most US police officers use in their squad cars), to put in my Jeep. Any info about where I could find a used one for cheap or just info on them would be great. My other option is to put in a 7" monitor, perhaps touch screen, and hook up to a laptop. I looked at Xenarc (www.xenarc.com) and Lilliput monitors (www.lilliput.com ???), plus some others. I will be using this computer primarily for GPS navigation and audio, as well as playing an occasional DVD in the Jeep and maybe listening to Hamm radio (if I can find the appropriate software... I know it's out there...). The unit must be portable , however, so I can take it inside and use it in my home. Again, any info would be helpful. If you'd like to E-mail me, I'm at n8f@juno.com.
