Bit Torrent is just like any p2p sharing program. Except downloading a program and searching within the program you use websites such as: http://www.isohunt.com, http://www.suprnova.org, etc. And it runs off of people seeding it(Keeping their finished downloads up for download). Hope this helps.

Yeah; and they often download in tiny pieces all around the file - eventually to fill up into the full file. Its quite useful and brings in more sources from other people downloading the same file who have bits you want, or bits you have which they don't so they download them from you while you're downloading from them.

Things like Shareaza, eDonkey, Limewire.
