Unknown msn-related virus

Hi guys,

I use msn messenger along with digsby as my main Instant Messenger applications - My machine has somehow got infected by some msn messenger related virus, I am getting various spam messages from a friend of mine and have tried everything to remove these.

I have AVG Free running alongside a number of anti-spam applications (Spyware Blaster, Threatfire etc..)

Can anyone please inform me how I can get rid of this annoying virus!!

Yea, run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

I suggest using Spyware Terminator, after testing a good amount of anti-spyware programs, Spyware Terminator performed the best. Also you could try Avast, I have not seem much difference between AVG and Avast, but sometimes one will find what the other won't and visa-verse.

Or you could simply ignore them as unless you actually click any of the links in the messages your friend's computer sends you, you're not infected. Your friend is.
