I recently got a computer with Vista installed and I only had 1gb of memory in it therefore making my vista run rather slow I decided to change to Window's XP.
So I then installed window's xp and it was running a lot faster and smoother, I then carried on with my computer went to play a song and realised my motherboard 'multimedia' driver's weren't installed so I went to my motherboard's website which is Asus and the link wouldn't work and they had a 'driver detective' programme you could download, so I downloaded it did a scan and it said I needed 14 driver's so I told it to install them then it come up I need to pay for this software. Being a schoolboy with no money I decided i needed a keygen, so I downloaded one of a site I hadn't heard of, opened it and on my desktop appeared three new link's 'porntube youporn and another I cant remember' so I deleted them turned my computer off and went elsewhere and when I came back my pc wouldn't load up, kept getting to just before you log in and restarted so I started it in safe mode and ran a programme called 'ComboFix' and it deleted a few file's I then restarted my computer and the log in page was the old style, I logged in and it wouldn't show me my desktop so I tried to run Task Manager and it says 'Task Manager is diabled by your administrator' so that annoyed me even more so I re-formatted it and it still say's Task manager is disabled. and basically my computer is dead due to this virus that wont go even after a full re-format
Is there any possible way I could get rid of this virus, and has anyone else experienced this?
