Awhile back I stopped using IE because everytime I'd type in a web address without the prefix of "http://" I would get redirected to a website called www.hugesearch.net

Does anyone know what this could be? I've run AVG freeware virus scan, Ad-Aware and a few other programs. I switched to Opera and more recently Mozilla, but I loved IE.

On top of that, is there any browser that's most secure or recommended?

It was probably some type of adware. I used to love IE, but then i started using Firefox because everyone said it was great. It'll prob be hard to get used to, but when you do you'll fall in love with it.

Why will I fall in love with it? Does it have something IE doesn't?

Isn't Firefox the same as Mozilla? Or are they different?

Firefox is Mozilla, Firefox is also known as Mozilla Firefox.
