firewall

i once read in an IT magazine that installing two network cards creates a firewall, is there any software configuration i need to do, or do i just install the 2 network cards?

What?? I don't see how that would "create" a firewall. Generally if you are behind a router you have some type of hardware firewall, and if your using windows it has a built in software based firewall. I don't see why you would need 2 network cards though, unless your on 2 networks or bridging.
