Deleting deleted files permanently

Hey folks,
I'm a newbie but I'm here cos I need to find out something.
My dad got Norton GoBack and now can view all the files ever deleted on the PC. This includes some stuff that could get me in trouble so I need to know how to get rid of the files permanently. Anyone know how to do this?

I think formatting would get rid of it all, But I don't think that's an option open to you

Formatting would get rid of everthing on the hhd.

What you want to do is get a copy of System mechanic, it has an option for permanent deletion of files, but it is shareware, unless you get a cracked copy.

Oh yeah, Is that program doesn't work, You could try BC Wipe too....

Try a program called " Window Washer." from http://www.webroot.com

Also uninstall Norton! and reinstall it, that should get rid of them
