cant find the problem

[underwater4me20]

i downloaded a program i thought was video active x and when i did that IE explorer will now randomly open and take me to an antivirus page or a spyware page and try to get me to buy there products. i also have a yellow triangle with a ! inside it. I deleted a few programs that i also received with it. i am using windows 2000 and hijackthis.....here is the hijackthis log

i would switch over to a new browser, like Firefox/ Opera ..ect.

Unless you have the correct patches from Micro$oft, your browser is very vulnerable to virus's and trojan's not to mention spyware and malware.

Additionally, after you use HiJack This to remove the entries Raffaz recommends, make sure your anti-virus definitions are up-to-date and then run a complete scan to remove any remaining malicious files. You are probably infected with the "Trojan.Zlob.Media-Codec" and you will want to ensure it has been completely removed, since some variants have backdoor functionality.
