Trying to fix a problem laptop and need to run recovery through the bios but there is a password set which the owner says he does not remember
tried the phoenix default bios passes but no go
In the Ferrari 4000 service guide found here it says

Remove BIOS Password
1. Copy MastID program to C
2. Click Start > Program > Accessories > Command Prompt
3. Go to C:directory
4. Run mastid.exe
5. Key in “01234567†as following picture
6. Get master password
but not sure where i am supposed to find MastID programme
tried google but i am at a dead end
cant get into the battery as it means disassembly of the whole laptop
btw i have all the recovery cd and the system cd but cant see it on there
laptop model is acer ferrari 4000
