Ad Aware 10

Greetings..New member here..I'm attempting to learn how to navigate this forum..Any input on the new Ad Aware 10 that was supposed to be released February 7th?..I installed the Beta from the Lavasoft site and it downloaded and scanned fast..then I rebooted and everything was locked up on my pc..and I had to reinstall Windows to recover my pc..Ive read all of the negative press on the new owners in Canada and various warnings across the internet to stay away from anything with the Lavasoft name..Ive used Ad Aware for years..and hate they sold the company..Any experiences would be appreciated

In my use of that product, when it first came out it was ok. Now it's straight up s**t.
Malwarebytes and spybot search and destroy are two still free malware scanners.

Ive always, and always will run AVG and Malwarebytes. Personal opinions are a big conflict in this question though.
