2.amazonaws help

My wife downloaded a bad virus last night and I spent most of today trying to get things sorted and had a lot of trouble with akick pc doctor but finally thought I had it licked and and the 4,000 odd threats were down to zero and nothing was turning up on Malwarebytes but then s3_us_west_2.amazonws popped up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That's a proper and safe address that belongs to Amazon s3-us-west-2-w.amazonaws.com domain information. That link there shows all the IP addresses that it can or will go probably go to. I tried it myself and it went to Amazon S3 page.

I'd also get Adwcleaner and run that. You'd be surprised as to how much crap it can find and get rid of.

Thanks BK...I think we might have it sorted though...we did a system restore and it seems back to normal.
