Is this worth $500 or can I get something better for the same price?

I have been trying to buy a decent computer for a little while and came across this computer on ebay for 474 plus shipping. I was wondering if this is even worth the price and even if I could find something better for around the same price? Thanks here are all the specs and stuff.
