Windows live messenger

Are conversations on Windows
Live messenger stored anywhere where I can access them in my
Documents etc? Or are they just stored on the windows live messenger chat server itself?

You're going back a bit now, that's long gone, everyone was migrated to Skype.

But yes, they are normally stored locally I believe.
