I have at present a HP 2010i computer with a Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT card in it, because my computer shuts down when I try to play train sim, I was told that I need to put a better card in like a ATI Radeon HD 4650 or4670 will putting a stronger card in damage my computer. It has a 11x2 215 processor 2.70GHz and the model is P6300uk AMD Athlon (TM)

Putting a better graphics card can damage a computer but not always. You have to consider is your power supply going to be able to run it without any problems and if the card will be compatible. You'd be better of building a computer or buying a new one..
