Hi, im new here and im thinking of getting a new custom rig this christmas how good is this pc
Mother board: gigabyte z97 d3h
Cpu: intel i5 4690 3.5 ghz
H.D.D: wd 1tb blue sata 3
Ssd: adata premier 128 gb
Gpu: powercolour r9 280 3 gb
Case:Gamemax 9606 mid atx 3 led12 cm fans and 1 20cm side fan led
Psu: aerocool kcas 700w
Dvd writer: Samsung 24x
Ram g.skill ripjaw-x 4×2gb (8gb)

That look like a solid build to me.
I'll recommend 2 modules with 4 GB in each.
This way you have room to expand and the kits are usually cheaper.
there are no benefit running 4 modules over 2.

Personally, I have always wanted to have a blueray writer in our PC's, but I have yet to do a custom build.
Based on what I do understand, that looks worth it!
Rather than look up the individual parts myself, I am going to be a bit lazy and simply ask... How much is that build going to cost?
