I think that would be premature. First I propose it to the staff. Then, if the staff is agreeable, then they can ask for comments if they wish.

Just make an twitter-account with relative tweets. Gets lots of followers en voila! I did it as well with my own website REMOVED LINK

At the beginning we had max 10 unique visits daily.
Now we HAVE approx 100-250 unique visits daily ( using twitter )

Imagine with a big forum like this.. just use twitter and it will be floating around with new members folks!
