Designing a good looking website is not simple as it needs very careful attention and thus some mistakes should be avoided by the web designer like as following:

Inconsistent Page Design
Poor Navigation
Poor Organization
No About Us Page
Poor use of HTML tables
Slow Loading Graphics
Use of Pictures and Graphics that do not match with Theme of the site

Consider these points while designing a website.

That's a nice, concise list of some of the mistakes web designers might make, however I feel it would also be worthwhile to add to that list the following:

- Conflicting or overly distracting colour schemes
- Use of complex, bright or distracting background images
- Use of blinking text, marquee, or other text effects (though there are exceptions)
- Fixed web page width greater than the width of most user's screens
- Inconsistence in or lack of paragraphing
- Poor image placement
- Too much content (unless necessary)
- Incorrect spelling and punctuation (yes, this can detract heavily from the professionalism of your webpage)

That's just scratching the surface of course, the number of potential mistakes a web designer can make is quite large, and increases exponentially with the complexity of the web page. I've just tried to detail some of the more common mistakes I see made. Hopefully someone finds this helpful.

Thank you very much Trivium for pointing some more familiar web design mistakes which the designer should keep in mind. Thanks a lot..........
