publishing your website

i am new to hosting ..
i 'm a good developer, i have developed a new website, but i have got a problem with it when i 'm publishing this ,it is successfully published but when i'm going to share its link somewhere like facebook, then it shows there the "index of "

Please help me in modifying this >>

Hold on there, much more detail required - like what are you using to build / publish the website? What URL shows the proper site and what shows the index page?

You'll need to specify an index.htm / index.html file to avoid the index of page coming up usually, have you done that?
