hello,
IM thinking about buying a cheap pc..
like the Dell Optiplex GX270 Tower Desktop, as its cheap.
but as iknow nothing bout computers,
as time goes by, and needing a better computer, can this pc have upgrades..
e.g ( better graphics card, more memory added, and all the rest )
and, how easy would it to more all the parts. out for that case, into another case?
+
what are the main pc parts, needed to build a new pc?
thanks x

They are good well built systems, But it wont be worth to upgrade it, The system supports a Intel P4 hyper threading processor which is ok for general computing but you wont really be able to use it for games. You will be able to put a better graphics card + more memory but its not worth it as far as im concerned as u can not put a decent processor in it.

How much u looking to spend on a system?
What will you use it for?
What country u from?

If u let us know the above we can recommend a good system for you

for general computing really, just need loads and loads of storage space,

+ why cant you put a new processor in?
+ between £200 - £300... would go to £400,

thanks for your help

Refurb is another word for "used, but resold" - someone acquired the system, cleaned it up, got it working and are reselling it. Other than the negative wording of "resold" or "refurb" the systems are otherwise fine for the most part.

ah right thankyou for that :)

+ another question is...

Does the computer support an s-video port? to connect to a scart TV...?
