Best surge supressors for the buck

I need a cheap reliable surge supressor for my computer. I wouldnt mind a UPS built into it but idk if that will cost too much. I need like a 1000j minimum with a UL rating so i know its good. I tried looking and was confused. Any recommendations? And the built in UPS isnt vital if things start to go above $50. Thanks in advance.

I'm not an electrical expert but there's newegg's list. Couldn't find any that were suppressors+UPS.

Yeah ill just make up my mind there. You cant just shop for one without reading the feedback and like 5 people saying that it messed up their system or something like that and how there are some 2400j ones that are cheaper than a 1200j one -_-

I also heard that even with the surge supressor, it turning off your PC so abruptly can corrupt data and is just bad in general so thats where a good like 20min power reserve would help, but i cant really find any ups/surge supressors anywhere. And ive also heard cases where the UPS has fried some people mobo's -_-
