Connect printer to wireless router (ethernet)?

but you won't have none of the other features of the printer. I already did that. I couldn't fax, scan, or see ink levels, no fax settings or a way to set up the phone numbers, no scanner settings, etc etc etc.
it didn't tie in with programs right either.
some worked some didn't.
I also couldn't print off the internet such as a map etc. it would constantly put the printer offline even after I uncheck it.

using windows to install the printer is not the way to go.
