So what I know about computers is limited to the small amount of time I have and the great amount of curiosity I have that tends to send my learning off in stupid directions.
The newest stupid direction I've chosen is to build my own system from the ground up using Gentoo. I'm looking for the best tutorial out there. I've been to: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=2 I am having issues with obtaining a public key. Seems to be something with the server. Any pointers other than "If you don't need to why use it (Gentoo)" would be quite welcome.
