ATEN announced that it will extend the range of HDMI solutions with the introduction of the new 8-port HDMI Video Switch - VS0801H and the 8-port HDMI Video Splitter - VS0108H. The new products will provide users with a guaranteed, high-fidelity multimedia transfer in HDMI technology.
The growing popularity of HDMI devices on the home theatre market creates the need to enable simultaneous access to different HDMI A/V sources. The VS0801H HDMI Video Switch enables consumers to easily connect up to 8 HDMI sources, such as HDMI camera, satellite TV set-top box, HD-DVD player, Blue-ray HD player, home theatre central unit or game console, to one TV screen. The VS0801H enables fast and easy switching between HDMI sources by pressing buttons on the front panel, via remote control, or through RS-232 serial port. The VS0108H is HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) compliant, making it effective for use with all HDMI displays in home theater applications, as well as in corporate, educational and commercial settings.
